
The Vegan Savoury Range
We’re pleased to announce that Aryzta have expanded their vegan savoury range and to kick thing off we’ve put the Vegan Sausage roll on offer throughout March for you to try!
- Saag Aloo Slice – a generously filled with potato and spinach, blended with aromatic herbs and spices to invoke the flavours of India. Then enveloped in a light and crisp puff pastry case.
- Spicy Chickpea Roll – a blend of chickpeas, sweet potato, red peppers and tomato wrapped in a puff pastry roll and sprinkled with paprika.
- Vegan Sausage Roll – a meat-free sausage with onion, flavoured with garden herbs, wrapped in flaky puff pastry and finished with a light parsley topping.
- Spicy Chickpea & Kale Pithiver – a French-inspired savoury pie recipe with a chickpea, sweet potato and apricot filling and herbs and spices, finished off with a parsley topping
One of foodservice’s biggest trends are the growth in veganism (veganism in the UK has increased by 350% in the last decade) and the explosion in a food-to-go market set to reach £23.5bn by 2022. Aryzta Food Solutions said it is urging retailers to utilise POS (point of sale) to encourage impulse purchase from food-to-go customers. The new vegan range will give shoppers greater choice, from traditional favourites such as the ‘Sausage’ Roll, to more exotic flavours such as that of their Saag Aloo Lattice Slice.
